Frequently Asked Questions
How many lessons do I need?
There is no straight answer, it all depends on the students ability to observe traffic regulations, vehicle control, search and identify hazards. In most cases all this can be covered within 10-20 lessons. But additional lessons will be need to build up confidence and a sense of the road.
Younger drivers generally learn faster, but just like everything else the more you practice the easier it gets. The NZTA recommends 120 hours of practical driving experience before attempting the restricted driving test. That is 5 hours each week for 6 months, however this is never the case in practice. Check out what our customers say about us and our high first time pass rates on Facebook.
